1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hidden Way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a parent or guardian, you accept these terms on behalf of your child. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Who Hidden Way Is For

Hidden Way is designed for:

  • Children (with parental consent)
  • Parents and Guardians managing their family's journey
  • Educators using school-approved classroom features
  • Counselors (only with explicit parental consent)
Hidden Way is a discovery and reflection tool, not a diagnostic, evaluative, or predictive system. It does not assess intelligence, predict outcomes, or replace professional guidance.

3. What Hidden Way Does NOT Do

This is important. Hidden Way does not:

Diagnose learning disabilities or mental health conditions
Predict future academic success or failure
Assign intelligence scores or rankings
Recommend careers or life paths
Replace educators, counselors, therapists, or parents
Create permanent records that follow children

Hidden Way reveals tendencies and patterns. It does not label or limit children.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Hidden Way, you agree to:

  • Parents: Provide accurate information and consent for your children
  • Teachers: Use classroom insights responsibly and never to rank, shame, or punish children
  • Schools: Ensure proper consent processes are followed
  • All Users: Not share login credentials or access others' data without authorization

5. Account & Access Rules

  • Parents control family access and can manage, revoke, or delete at any time
  • Teachers can only access their assigned classes
  • All access is role-based and fully logged
  • Escalated access (counselor, admin) requires explicit parental consent

6. Intellectual Property

  • You own your personal insights and your children's journey data
  • Hidden Way owns the platform, archetype system, scoring models, and visual designs
  • Aggregated, anonymized insights (with no identifying information) belong to Hidden Way for research and improvement

7. Account Termination & Data Deletion

  • Users can delete their accounts at any time
  • Parents can revoke consent and request full data deletion
  • Schools can terminate pilot programs with full data purge
  • Upon deletion, personal data is permanently removed within 30 days

8. Limitation of Liability

Hidden Way is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Hidden Way is not responsible for:

  • Decisions made based on Hidden Way insights
  • Third-party misuse of shared information
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Actions taken by schools, teachers, or counselors

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
